Where are Digiweb's Servers based?

Our servers are based in our custom built state of the art data centre in Blanchardstown, Dublin meaning you'll have great response times to your websites.

What uptime can I expect from my website?

We have invested hugely in redundancy systems for all customers of our Data Centre. We have our own ESB substation as well as several tonnes of UPS batteries
onsite to keep us going in the case of any power issues. We have also put in place DDOS mitigation and heavy firewalling of our shared hosting environment to keep
it secure from outside attacks.

What are the support levels for hosting customers?

We provide you with free support five days a week, Monday to Friday from nine in the morning to six in the evenings via phone or email (emailing hosting@digiweb.ie
will generate a ticket for your request). We constantly monitor support levels and try to keep response times to a minimum.

Can I host more than one website?

Of course you can! Our plans are designed for you to host as many of your websites as possible. So if you're transferring a site to Digiweb and you want to add more
sites later, our plans will allow you to expand as you see fit.

What control panel do you use?

We use Parallels H-Sphere control panel. Hsphere allows you to manage all facets of your website from which domains are hosted on it, to where you DNS records
point to. It's easy to use and our support agents are experts in all things Hsphere, so if you have any issues you can drop them a quick call and they'll walk you through
implementing any changes you wish to make on it.

If I host with Digiweb to I have to transfer my domain to you?

Nope, you can keep your domains at your current domain provider, you just need to change your DNS servers to the following nameservers to make them work with
your hosting space with us, ns1.hosting.digiweb.ie, ns2.hosting.digiweb.ie and ns3.hosting.digiweb.ie.

Can I test my website before changing name servers to Digiweb?

Yep, you can add your domains and all of your site content, email addresses, databases, whatever you want to our servers before switching everything over to us.
Hsphere allows you to view the site on our servers using an instant access domain alias for ease of access. If you need more info give the guys in support a call and
they'll explain that one to you!

Do you charge to transfer domains or hosting away from Digiweb?

No, that would be very bold!

How do I start?

Just sign-up for a hosting account with us and you're space will be available to you as soon as we check your order (we manually check all orders just in case).
Once your space is available you can add domains you currently own, test them, set everything up on them and then push them out live and of course our support department is here to help you in the transition.
